AI Chat (API Key) Guide
Chat with multiple AI models using your own API key. The AI Chat tool supports OpenAI GPT-4o and Anthropic Claude models in a single interface. Follow these steps: 1. Enter your OpenAI or Anthropic API key (stored only in your browser). 2. Select your preferred model from the dropdown menu. 3. Type your message in the input field and press Enter or click Send. 4. View the AI response in the chat window. 5. Continue the conversation naturally with follow-up messages. Tips: GPT-4o is best for general tasks, Claude excels at analysis and long-form content. Your conversation history is saved in your browser until you close the tab. Use the system prompt to set the AI's behavior and expertise level. The chat sends your messages to the selected AI model API and displays the response. It maintains conversation context so you can have multi-turn discussions. Different models use different message formats, and the interface handles these differences automatically. The chat supports system prompts to set the AI behavior, temperature controls for response creativity, and token limits for response length.
