AI Text Detector Guide
The AI Text Detector analyzes writing patterns to determine if text was likely written by AI. It uses four statistical heuristics: burstiness, repetition, perplexity, and transition word analysis. Follow these steps: 1. Copy the text you want to analyze (at least 50 words for best results). 2. Paste it into the input area on the AI Text Detector page. 3. Click the "Analyze" button to start the detection process. 4. Review the AI probability score and detailed breakdown of each heuristic. 5. Check the color-coded verdict: green for human-like, red for AI-like. Tips: Longer texts (300+ words) give more accurate results. Run texts through multiple detectors for a more reliable assessment. AI-generated text that has been heavily edited may be harder to detect. The tool works entirely in your browser — no data is sent to any server. The detector analyzes multiple linguistic features of your text. Burstiness measures how much sentence lengths vary, since AI text tends to have more uniform sentence lengths. Perplexity evaluates word choice diversity, as AI models often default to common word combinations. Repetition analysis identifies recurring phrases and patterns typical of AI generation. Transition word usage examines how sentences connect, since AI tends to overuse certain transitions. Each factor contributes to an overall AI likelihood score.
