Markdown Previewer Guide
A markdown previewer renders your markdown into formatted HTML in real time as you type, so you can see exactly how your README, blog post, or documentation will look before publishing. It supports GitHub-flavored markdown including tables, task lists, fenced code blocks with syntax highlighting, and strikethrough text. A split-pane layout keeps your source on one side and the rendered output on the other, eliminating the cycle of editing, saving, and refreshing just to check formatting. The previewer parses your input with a CommonMark-compliant parser extended with GitHub-flavored markdown features. As you type, the parser rebuilds the HTML and streams it into the preview pane without a full page reload. Code blocks are passed through a syntax highlighter that recognizes dozens of languages, and raw HTML embedded in the markdown passes through unchanged so existing snippets continue to work. Use fenced code blocks with a language tag for accurate syntax highlighting. Preview your document on a narrow screen too, because tables and wide code blocks can overflow on mobile. Copy the rendered HTML when you need to paste into a rich-text editor that does not accept markdown.
