Text Formatter
A text formatter cleans and normalizes messy text by trimming leading and trailing whitespace, collapsing repeated spaces, converting line endings, and removing unwanted characters. Pasting content from PDFs, emails, and word processors often introduces stray formatting that breaks downstream tools, and this utility fixes it in one click. Editors, developers, and data analysts use it to prepare text before publishing, importing, or processing. The result is consistent, predictable text that downstream tools can parse without surprises. The formatter applies a configurable sequence of string transformations to your input. Whitespace trimming strips spaces at the start and end of each line, while space normalization collapses runs of two or more spaces into a single space. Line ending conversion harmonizes Windows, Unix, and Mac line breaks so files behave the same across operating systems. Optional transformations remove blank lines, strip HTML entities, or convert smart quotes to plain ASCII, depending on which toggles you enable.
